This publication celebrates the 40 year anniversary of Bubble O’Bil ice cream.

I remember having these ice creams as a kid, from the corner store freezer near the beach, but never knew some of the crazy things this ice cream has been part of….from being charged with over-sexualisation (in a Streets ad campaign) to using its platform as Australian icon to stop people from sending nude images… as well as having a bullet hole in his hat (reportedly shot by his sister, Bubble O’Jill). It’s a whole thing and my publication covers all of it.
